Privacy Policy

PiRush is a free math game from the PiRush YouTube channel. This page explains what information the game uses, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short and simple.

No accounts

You can play without signing up. We never ask for your real name, email address, phone number or location.

Information saved on your device

Your browser remembers your chosen language, your best streaks, and the last nickname and country you used. This stays on your device (in "local storage") and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

The game itself does not set cookies.

Leaderboard scores

Only if you choose to submit a score, we store: the nickname you type, the country you choose (shown as a flag; it is your choice, not your location), your score, the category, the time of the submission and how long the run took.

To stop spam, we also store a one-way code made from your internet connection’s address (a salted hash). The address itself is never stored, and the code cannot be turned back into it. It is used only to limit how many scores one connection can send.

Scores are public on the leaderboard and are deleted automatically after about 30 days.

Advertising

PiRush may show ads from Google AdSense to keep the game free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of some other vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where the law requires it, for example in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before ads use cookies.

Children

PiRush is made for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Players should use a nickname, never their real name.

Your choices and rights

You do not need an account, so there is nothing to close or delete. A score you post is deleted automatically after about 30 days. If you never post a score, nothing about you leaves your browser except the questions the game downloads.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
